Merkins Farm Cafe

We wanted a family brunch, it was getting late morning and maby places had stopped serving breakfasts. We rang Merkins and they were, so we made our way over there. It was busy but they has room the staff from meeting us at the door to serving were all great. All smiling all happy to help and when they had run out of a pastry offered lots of options. The food when it arrived all looked good well cooked and nicely presented. It offers a wide range menu reasonably priced and lots of space. We will be going back and would highly recommend it. Well done all at Merkins the ethos you have set out is personified throughout your staff.

This place is amazing. We have visited several times this year and it never disappoints. All members of staff are so lovely and helpful, the food and drinks are delicious, and the setting is great too with a great view of the countryside. In warmer weather it’s nice to sit outside or in the little sheds. Today we came in for a farmhouse breakfast and also the poached eggs on toast with avocado which was fantastic as always. Can also highly recommend their cakes and the milkshakes too!

The location and facilities are fabulous. It is a super clever setup with a main building set up at three separate rooms, and a small table and 2 chairs set as the Naughty Corner. There is plenty of seating inside - dog friendly, yay - and outside seating including sheds, yes sheds to eat outside under cover from the elements. Menu accommodates all eating preferences, with brunch option and the staff are super lovely. A great atmosphere and wonderful place to try. They even have a little gift shop onside. Ps Wiltshire ham is gorgeous.
